Another enemy to look out for is mimics, these look like a chest but turn into a mimic when you get close, or they get hit by something. You can stop the spinning by hitting them with a weapon, and any time one shows up you should kill it immediately. Both deal a lot of damage, and also have this spin attack where they spin and jump at you that does even more damage. The other is the giant tortoise and ice tortoise. You should stay far away from any spider nests until you have much better armor. It spawns inside spider nests (and rarely elsewhere in the cavern when you're near one) and they do ridiculous amounts of damage, and also poison. There's 2 that I would say are especially dangerous. Rescue him as you do the rest, by talking to him. The Wizard can now randomly show up in the cavern layer.
